- His team: Dugtrio L50, Persian L53, Nidoqueen L53, Nidoking L55, Rhydon L55. Reward: Earth Badge and TM27 Fissure.
- Bench Pikachu - Electric does nothing to four of his five Pokemon. Water, Ice and Grass are the answer; Rhydon takes 4x from both Water and Grass. Lapras with Surf and Ice Beam is the star of this fight.
- Beat him and Team Rocket disbands.
