- Get into Saffron by giving the thirsty guard a rooftop drink from the Celadon Department Store.
- Beat the Fighting Dojo and choose ONE prize at level 30: Hitmonlee or Hitmonchan. You can never have both.
- Clear Silph Co.: find the Card Key, fight Jessie & James at L31 and your rival, take the free level 15 Lapras from the employee on 7F, then beat Giovanni again. The president rewards you with the Master Ball.
- Beat Sabrina: Abra L50, Kadabra L50, Alakazam L50. Reward: Marsh Badge and TM46 Psywave.
- Mr. Psychic's house holds TM29 Psychic; Copycat trades TM31 Mimic for a Poke Doll.
