Surf, Strength and a game with no battles

  1. The Safari Game costs 500 Poke Dollars for 30 Safari Balls and 500 steps. You cannot battle: you throw a Ball, throw Bait (the Pokemon eats, becomes less likely to flee but harder to catch) or throw a Rock (angry, easier to catch but far more likely to flee).
  2. Reach the Secret House in Area 3 for HM03 Surf, and find the Gold Teeth.
  3. Return the Gold Teeth to the Warden in Fuchsia for HM04 Strength.
  4. Beat Koga: Venonat L44, Venonat L46, Venonat L48, Venomoth L50. Reward: Soul Badge and TM06 Toxic. Psychic moves are 2x on all four.
  5. The Safari Zone is the only source of Chansey, Kangaskhan, Tauros, Tangela and Exeggcute, and Dratini is fished out of its ponds with the Super Rod.
