- With the Silph Scope in hand, climb the Pokemon Tower. The ghost blocking the way is revealed to be a level 30 Marowak - it cannot be caught, only defeated.
- Fight Jessie & James for the third time: Meowth, Arbok and Weezing at L27.
- Rescue Mr. Fuji at the top. He gives you the Poke Flute.
- Gastly and Haunter are wild in the tower - the only place in the game to get the Gengar line. Gengar itself needs a link trade.
