How to beat them: Ice Beam and Blizzard hit both Dragonair for 2x and Dragonite for 4x. Thunderbolt hits Gyarados for 4x and Aerodactyl for 2x. Lapras alone covers the whole team. Dragon Rage is the only Dragon move in Gen 1 (a flat 40 damage), so his Dragonite attacks with Normal moves - its Hyper Beam is the real threat.
